Parrish Nurse

I am a native of Washington County and have attended Sulphur Springs Baptist Church since age 8.  I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour when I was 12 years old.  As a child and adolescent I was mentored and nurtured by several ladies of the church.  With caring folks like that I learned first hand what it meant to serve God and others.

I have been the parish nurse at SSBC since 1998.  With one foot in the faith community and one foot in the scientific community, I see parish nursing as an excellent opportunity to use the skills and abilities with which God has blessed me to minister to others.  My goal is to assist the parishioners and others in the community to reach their optimal level of whole person (body, mind & spirit) health.

I am married to the love of my life, Gale Gray.  He is the one who stands by me, supporting me in all my endeavors and cheering me on. We have two wonderful sons and six beautiful grandchildren. I am so incredibly blessed! What an AWESOME GOD we serve! “How can I keep from singing His praise?”

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
